Hunt Rates
Our rates depend on the area you hunt, the species, and whether you book a trophy or second tier trophy hunt. Every range below is per hunter. Landowner vouchers are quoted separately.
Rates by area
Eastern plains and foothills, Colorado
$2,500 to $17,500 per hunter. Antelope, whitetail deer and trophy mule deer. Meals and lodging are not included.
Southern Colorado
$3,500 to $18,000 per hunter. Elk, black bear, mountain lion, antelope and trophy deer. Meals and lodging are included.
West Texas
$8,750 to $9,500 per hunter. Free-range aoudad. Meals and lodging are included.
Turkey, either Colorado area
$2,750 per hunter. Lodging is included. Meals are not.
Bison, eastern plains
$3,500 to $9,000 per hunter. Meals and lodging are not included. No license is required for a bison hunt. Younger bull and cow meat hunts cost less than trophy bulls.
Which rate applies to each hunt
Elk: southern Colorado rate. Meals and lodging included.
Mule deer: eastern plains rate, meals and lodging not included, or southern Colorado rate, meals and lodging included.
Whitetail deer: eastern plains rate. Meals and lodging not included.
Antelope: eastern plains rate, meals and lodging not included, or southern Colorado rate, meals and lodging included.
Black bear: southern Colorado rate. Meals and lodging included.
Mountain lion: southern Colorado rate. Meals and lodging included.
Turkey: $2,750. Lodging included, meals not.
Bison: $3,500 to $9,000. Meals and lodging not included.
Aoudad: west Texas rate, $8,750 to $9,500. Meals and lodging included.
What moves a hunt within its range
Three things: the weapon season you choose, the hunt area, and whether the hunt needs a landowner voucher.
Our trophy hunts target the largest mature animals we have. Second tier trophy hunts target animals with smaller antlers and cost less, which is where the lower end of each range comes from.
Landowner vouchers
Some hunts need a landowner voucher, which lets you hunt in a year you did not draw a license. Vouchers are quoted separately and run $1,000 to $4,000 on the eastern plains and $1,000 to $7,500 in southern Colorado. What is not included
Your license, any landowner voucher, gratuities, game processing and taxidermy are separate from the hunt price. Gratuities reflect how your guide performed and average 10 to 15 percent of the total hunt cost. We are happy to recommend game processors and taxidermists.
