Sandy Hills Hunting Co guides trophy big game hunts on leased private ranches across the eastern plains and southern Colorado, and free-range aoudad hunts in west Texas. Some of our hunts have landowner vouchers, so you can hunt in a year you don't draw a tag, and several seasons are over the counter.
Welcome to the Sandy Hills Hunting Company. since THE BEGINNING WE HAVE HAD ONE SIMPLE MISSION; HUNT QUALITY properties, manage the animals on them appropriately, AND HAVE FUN DOING IT. we hunt TURKEY, ANTELOPE, WHITETAIL DEER, MULE DEER, MOUNTAIN LION, BLACK BEAR, ELK, BISON, and Aoudad. The eastern plains of colorado have a long-standing reputation for holding outstanding deer and antelope, southern colorado is notorious for big bulls, and west texas holds big, free-range aoudad rams. At SHHC we have implemented a strict management plan that capitalizes on genetics and quality hunt areas allowing our clients to consistently harvest trophy-class animals. we believe in the quality of the animals we harvest and not the quantity. Beyond elk, mule deer and antelope, we guide whitetail deer on the eastern plains, black bear in southern Colorado on over-the-counter licenses, mountain lion hunts with experienced houndsmen that take only mature toms, spring Merriam's and Rio Grande turkey, bison hunts that need no license, and free-range aoudad in west Texas.

We lease approximately 40,000 acres of private land in southern Colorado and have access to nearly 70,000 acres of public land. Our goal is mature bulls in the 300-inch range and up, with the potential of reaching 350 inches or more. Elk hunts are 5 days, with meals and lodging in our lodge or ranch house included. Second and third season rifle licenses are over the counter, and on some of our elk ground landowner vouchers let you hunt in a year you did not draw.
WE HUNT mule deer on A large VARIETY OF PRIVATE RANCHES THROUGHOUT many UNITS in EASTERN and southern COLORADO. OUR GOAL IS TO STRICTLY HARVEST MATURE animals. IF HUNTING A LARGE MULE DEER INTERESTS YOU, WE WOULD LIKE TO HELP.
The eastern plains are recognized as some of the best deer hunting available today. Our mule deer harvest galleries run from 180 inches to 250 inches, plus a second tier trophy class for mature bucks with smaller antlers. Mule deer tags take preference points, but our landowner vouchers let you hunt in a year you do not draw. Mule deer hunts are 5 days, and archery hunts on the eastern plains are 6.

We strive to harvest mature antelope in the 75-inch range and up, with the possibility of reaching 82 inches or more, hunting from water holes and stock tanks or by spot and stalk. Antelope hunts are 3 days.
